The Task:

Working as a team of four, you will each take a role: Cody, Mr. and Mrs. Malodey, Counselor Jobs, and Dr. Class. Each of you has a responsibility to guide Cody into the correct path to Cody's future. Your responsibilities include:

• Cody: Your responsibility is to find three career choices for Cody, based on what Cody enjoys doing. For example, Cody likes computers, but has some other interests as well.

• Cody's Mom and Dad: You want Cody to have a great education, but funds have been tight so you have to find as many as 3 grants and/or scholarships that will help pay for Cody's education.

• Counselor Jobs: As Cody's counselor, you have many college/university resources at your fingertips. You must find just the right program for Cody, based on the three choices Cody has made.

• Dr. Class: Dr. Class' responsibility is to guide Cody toward high school classes that would help Cody transition from high school to college. Certain college classes are extremely challenging if taken for the first time at the university level. If Cody takes them in high school, they are much easier to understand. Also, colleges and universities require certain high school classes as prerequisites to getting into college. Finally, some high school classes can be taken for college credit. Although challenging, these classes are doable for Cody and, if he takes these classes, he has a head start when he gets to college.
